161 chemical weapons attacks in Syria's civil war, new report claims
Syria marks five years of civil war this month, a recent report claims that chemical weapons have been used at least 161 times through the end of 2015 and caused 1,491 deaths. It was said that such attacks are increasing, with a high of at least 69 attacks last year, and 14,581 people have been injured through all these attacks. The Syrian American Medical Society released a report Monday is the most comprehensive listing of chemical weapons attacks in Syria so far. The United States and other Western countries have repeatedly accused Syria government of using chemical weapons on its own people, even after the Security Council in 2013 ordered the elimination of its chemical weapons programs, following an attack that killed hundreds of civilians.
My Opinion On This Issue: I believe that this is becoming a bigger problem in more war filled countries. I believe lots of innocent people are dying due to war related things. I believe these attacks could be used to drive the rebel forces out and civilians are getting caught in it. I think that there should be something done about this issue, that someone like a world organization should jump in and put an end to these more common occurrences. I believe that organization could be the united nations as they are build up of worldwide people. I believe that there should be a more stricter law on the use of chemical weapons and, that if there is some found that they could be taken away and that there would be punishment for the use of these chemical weapons.

I believe that this is a big issue as Attawapiskat has declared state of emergency 3 times in the last 3 years. I believe that these kids are trying to get attention and might have something to do with the last years Idle no more. I believe that the government has gave lots of money towards this issue, but has not given lots of social help like counseling and given the right people for the job. I hope that there will be an end to this issue and that people can help the youth to not have those ideas.

I believe that this young man is guilty of these charges and that he might have been purposely setting fires to gain more money for fighting fires. I believe that he did not do this to hurt or harm anyone but should be charged for setting these fires.

My Opinion On This Issue:
I believe that this company has done a good deed of helping others people in need by stopping beer production and canning water to give to the evacuees. I believe that this great deed will be greatly appreciated and was well needed. I believe that more company's should see this deed and do something similar to help wildfire evacuees. South African firefighters arrive eager to help fight Fort McMurray wildfire
Around 200 South African firefighters have arrived in Edmonton Alberta on May 29th to help fight the still out of control wildfire near Fort Mcmurray. These South African firefighters right when they landed at the airport started to sing. They have only known each other for a day and singing is a way to connect."It gives us moral courage, it gives us teamwork," she said. "If we become tired in the fire we sing.
"It's not something you practice, it's in the soul."
Said Khomt Alucie
A large portion of these South African firefighters have come through a program in their country called "Working On Fire."
The program was put in place over a decade ago and is designed to give young people in that South Africa a job, pulling them out of poverty.
The wildfire has destroyed part of Fort McMurray and continues to burn out of control and covers almost 580,000 hectares. Around 2,300 firefighters are currently battling wildfires in Alberta alone. Firefighters have been flown in from across Canada and the United States. The firefighting conditions were expected to improve over the last weekend due to higher humidity and the potential for rainfall.

Gorilla shot dead after boy, 4, falls into enclosure at Cincinnati Zoo
A 4 year old boy fell into a gorilla enclosure at Cincinnati Zoo on May 28th. The gorilla appeared to be gentle at first but became more agitated as people began yelling and making noise. The gorilla began to drag the boy around so the zoo had to make a quick choice. The gorilla was shot and killed to save the boys life. The 17 year old 400 plus pound gorilla Harambe was a critically endangered species and is a huge loss for the zoo and the gorilla population worldwide. Zoo Director Thane Maynard said the gorilla didn't appear to be attacking the 4 year old boy but was "an extremely strong" animal in an agitated situation. He said tranquilizing the gorilla wouldn't have knocked it out immediately, leaving the boy in danger.
"They made a tough choice and they made the right choice because they saved that little boy's life," Maynard said. "It could have been very bad. In other situations like this the gorillas ether stroked the child or helped carry them to the zoo keeper for help why this turned out different for the worst I don't Know?

I believe that this was the right decision but I just wish that the gorilla Harambe a critically endangered animal did not have to die. I believe that there should be more protection from the enclosure as this has happened before. I believe that parents need to watch their kids better and take more of a responsibility for them. If that boy was kept a closer eye on I believe that Harambe would still be alive.

In the first 8 months of the year 50 tons of medical aid supplies were yanked out of the trucks by the regime. Paris attacks At least 120 killed, 8 attackers dead
On Friday November 13 2015 a series of multiple attacks targeting young concert-goers, soccer fans and Parisians enjoying their Friday night out at popular nightspots were disrupted when multiple attacks went off killed at least 120 people and injuring over 200 in at least 6 different bombings and gun fire. This is the deadliest violence to have struck France since World War II. The President of France, François Hollande condemned it as terrorism and pledged that France would stand firm against its foes. The police said they believe that all attackers are dead, but 8 militants were killed, 7 in suicide bombings.
My Opinion On This Issue:
I believe that this was a huge issue in the world and still is as this was a terrorist attack. These attacks have killed so many people over the years like 911. I believe that something needs to happen so these attacks don't happen again. I believe that these attacks were planned and purposely executed in pairs for a certain reason. I hope that this doesn't happen again and I morn for the loved ones who lost a relative in this terrible attack.

3-year-old Victoria boy dies from poisonous 'death cap' mushroom
Last week a three year old boy was picking mushrooms in the Victoria B.C. The three year old passed away on October 11th. The boy and his family were out foraging for mushrooms in an undisclosed location in Victoria B.C. He was treated in Victoria but was airlifted to the Stollery children's hospital in Edmonton where he died last night (oct 11). The three year old's family wanted to make the death of their son public so that this does not happen to others.
It is the first recorded death in B.C. from a death cap mushroom, also known as Amanita phalloides, which kills more people than any other mushroom worldwide. There have been two other significant but not fatal poisonings since the death cap was first spotted in B.C. in 1997, according to specialist Paul Kroeger, a mycologist who helps identify mushrooms responsible for poisonings. It is believed that the fungus arrived years, possibly decades earlier, on the roots of imported European trees, and is increasingly common in Vancouver, Victoria and the Fraser Valley. There are now more than 70 documented locations in Vancouver where death caps have been found, up from just six three years ago, said Kroeger.

Canada-EU trade deal on hold as Belgium fails to reach agreement
The EU's hopes of signing a landmark free trade deal with Canada this week appeared to vanish on Monday as the Belgian federal government failed to win the majority consent of French-speaking regional authorities.
The EU Council President Donald Tusk had given Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel until Monday October 24 , three days before the planned signing, to resolve the impasse. But a meeting the PM hosted with leaders of the five sub-federal authorities whose permission he needs to go ahead ended in stalemate. President Tusk is now expected to contact Canada's PM Justin Trudeau and call of the deal scheduled for Thursday sighing. Bot Canada and EU still believe that sighing could still occur.

'A lot of us are still running,' residential school survivor says at Walk for Wenjack
Chanie Wenjack was a "trespasser found dead" a railway inspector found his frozen body beside the rail line near Redditt, Ont., in 1966. The 12-year-old run-away from residential school was always much more than that to his family back home in Marten Falls First Nation. Today, Wenjack is becoming beloved by Canadians across the our country.
Over the weekend, dozens of people both Indigenous and non-Indigenous, took part in the Walk for Wenjack, retracing the last steps Chanie Wenjack as he escaped Cecilia Jeffrey Indian Residential school in Kenora, Ont., and made a desperate attempt to make the long journey of hundreds of kilometres back to his home along the railway tracks. "I think part of what we're doing to do today, and I hope to speak with a bunch of survivors, is finding out how [residential school] has impacted them and how they are feeling today and what we can do to help," said Rob Ferreira, one of the organizers of the Walk for Wenjack, which saw people from southern Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba take part.
Several residential school survivors walked with the group and talked about their admiration for Wenjack's attempt at escape.
"I wish I had the courage to run, to run away from what was happening," said Peter Sackaney as he walked with the group. "In reality, a lot of us are still running as adults because we live with the memories and we live with the nightmares."

I believe that their need to be more events like this done to help survivors, but also I believe that their has been lots of support from non-indigenous people. I hope that these people get what they need to recover and move on from this issue.
